The 9th annual Consumer Issues Conference is centered on the many topical issues involving food. Plenary and concurrent sessions will include topics such as Food Labeling & Safety, Genetically Modified Foods, Food versus Fuel, Community Supported Agriculture and Local Foods, Scientific and Legal Issues Related to Food Safety, and Food Phobia: Weight Loss & Dietary Supplement Marketing Issues. Tours each afternoon will be of local and regional destinations. Poster submissions are accepted, and educational exhibits are welcome. Professional credits will be available.
