Description:
The University of Minnesota Extension invites horse owners to attend one of three Horse Owner Education Days. Each program offers researched based information and knowledgeable speakers, identified specifically for that region by a committee of local horse experts and enthusiasts. Speakers for these programs include University of Minnesota faculty and staff as well as local veterinarians and horse professionals. Programs are recommended for ages 13 and up, but are open to everyone. TOPICS TO INCLUDE: Equine Economics & Options for Unwanted Horses • Vitamin & Mineral Nutrition • Equine Dentistry • Fly & Pest Control • Horse Behavior • Is Your Truck & Trailer Road Worthy? Program: 1:00-4:00 pm (Doors open at 12:30 pm).
