I have vinca ground cover and moneywort that are spreading into bee balm, veronica and other perennials. Will they overtake the perennials? I typically plant annuals such as impatiens in that area and wonder if they will be compatible.

The bee balm can probably hold its own, but you need to address the problem of how much vinca and moneywort you want in your garden. Some perennials spread quite rapidly, and if you allow it to continue you will have no space remaining for your other plants. The annuals would not be in a good situation competing with established perennials. It may seem harsh, but we suggest you systematically remove the vinca and moneywort from any areas you wish to maintain for other plants. You could pot up some of the removed plants and share with friends. Otherwise, just put them in the compost or yard waste.
