I sprayed a little Hinder on my peas right after they came up to keep the deer and rabbits from eating them. Recently I noticed on the label on the back of the bottle that the only vegetable listed was carrots. Are my peas unsafe to eat?

One should always read the label when purchasing chemicals and again before using them. Hinder Deer and Rabbit Repellent is made from ammonium soaps of fatty acids and will wash off with rain. This is why it must be reapplied after rainfall. However, unless the label says that the product may be used on the vegetable in question, no one can recommend that you eat the peas.
