Why should homosexuals be allowed to become teachers?

Homosexuality should have nothing to do with the process of selection for teachers. The sexual orientation or gender of a person does not determine whether he/she has the capability to be a good teacher. As long as the homosexual teacher understands that he/she should not indulge in inappropriate behavior or discussions with the children, and abides by all school policies, it does not harm society in any conceivable manner.
