Here is a limited list of ideas. Be creative.
● Invite local entrepreneurs to speak with the youth about their successes and failures in becoming an entrepreneur, and be sure to allow for a question/answer period.
● Schedule field trips to local companies, banks, lawyers, accountants, etc. to expose the youth to the various components of running a successful business.
● Invite some professionals to the classroom, and set up a panel for the youth to ask questions about entrepreneurship and the roles entrepreneurs play.
● Consider pairing the youth with a mentor (either local community college students majoring in business or a retired business person, etc.).
● Plan on hosting a business plan competition with monetary prizes that the youth could use as seed money for their business idea.
Unlike most other resources on the web, we have experts from Universities around the country ready to answer your questions.
