How do I locate adult day care?
In many areas, you could locate care in the Yellow Pages under “Day Care Centers—Adult.” Another great place to start would be with your county office on aging or Area Agency on Aging (AAA).
The ElderCare Locator can help you to find the nearest one. Call 1-800-677-1116 or visit the agency's Web site at www.eldercare.gov, select "General Information & Assistance," and your local AAA office should appear.
In certain areas, you also may be able to dial 2-1-1 from your home telephone to be connected with resources and services available in your area.
