So far this year, 15 percent to 20 percent of my calf crop have been born with abnormal presentations and backwards. Do you have any ideas as to what could cause this?

The reason for high incidence of front presentations at birth in the cow is unknown. Higher incidence of rear presentations may suggest a hereditary factor causing such malpresentation, such as an inbred line of cows bred to one bull.
