Most counties have either senior centers or congregate nutritiion sites where people can get an inexpensive but nutritious hot meal. Contact your local Area Agency on Aging or your local Cooperative Extension office for the centers in your community. You may also try dialing 2-1-1 from your home telephone to access information for your area. However, not all states have this service for all their counties.
