I am a caregiver. How can I prepare to shelter in place?

There are a number of important things you should do to prepare to shelter in place. One of the most important is to prepare a disaster kit. This kit should include water, food, clothing, bedding, first aid needs, prescription and nonprescription drugs, sanitation, special individual requirements, and important documents.
