My calves experience heat stress during the summer. Do you have any recommendations for providing artificial shade over the hutches?

Shade cloth is excellent shade, and you can pick different levels of sunlight blockage. Ninety percent is common. Shade cloth can be an inexpensive alternative and allow for air movement and calf comfort.
