You should feed the calf 8 pounds of milk per day, or an appropriate milk replacement. Feed this amount twice a day in 4 pound feedings. You can buy a calf bottle or teach him to drink from a bucket. At about day seven start offering a high quality calf starter such as grain, and when he is eating approximately 1.5 pounds of grain per day, you can wean him off the liquid diet. This should be around 6-8 weeks of age.
