Enterprise Facilitation™ (EF) is a system developed by Ernesto Sirolli (The Sirolli Institute) based on helping entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs realize their dreams of creating their own business. The enterprise facilitator works in a community and is supported by a network of community leaders and resource providers; these individuals compose the EF “local management board.” Community leaders assist in introducing the facilitator to local entrepreneurs, and resource providers serve as a key referral network for the facilitator. Enterprise facilitation is largely dedicated to working with individuals, especially those having a strong “passion” and personal commitment to entrepreneurship. This approach has been implemented in several states, including Kansas and Oregon, and many international settings, including Australia. Since it is proprietary, launching the Enterprise Facilitation™ program might prove expensive for some small communities.
