In general, there are few grants available to start a business, just as there is no "free money." Any money most often comes in the form of a loan, meaning it must be paid back. The other source of funds is equity-financing where you give up some ownership of your business. The basic lesson is to avoid the scams that perpetuate the idea that there is free money.
