It is very important to review your policy every year and to contact your insurance agent to update your policy before a disaster occurs! A good rule of thumb is to be sure your coverage amount is always at least 80% of the current replacement cost of your home. Otherwise, you may not be paid the full cost of replacing even a partial loss.
