I pick my baby up all day long. How can I keep from hurting my back?

When you pick up your baby, bend from your knees and kneel or squat, keeping your back as straight as possible. Hold onto your baby, and straighten up from the knee-bend or squat position. Make your knees do the work, not your back. Do not bend over from your waist.
