Banamine is a rather harsh drug and should not be given on a routine basis without supervision. It can cause gastric (stomach) ulcers in your horse if used in an indiscriminate way. Contact your veterinarian, who may or may not prescribe such treatment, taking into account all preexisting health conditions and other pertinent facts related to the general well-being of your horse.
