FAQ #27564

Have a question? Try asking one of our Experts

is there required software (or other tools) to complete a Comprehensive Nutrient Mangement Plan (CNMP) or Nutrient Management Plan (NMP)?

In some states, there are required tools. If you are doing a CNMP for Natural Resource Conservation Service, check with the county or state office to see if they have a required tool. If not a required tool, they may have a suggested tool that would make the process go more smoothly in that state. If you are doing a plan for regulatory requirements, check with that authority for any required or recommended tools. There may be software for doing a P Index, nutrient management plans, and other requirements for your state.

For more information on software tools, see FAQ 27566 http://faq.extension.org/publish/show/27566.
