What is the process for filing papers to establish a processing cooperative in Tennessee?

To start a processing cooperative in Tennessee, you will need to meet two requirements: 1) obtaining a letter of approval of your proposed “articles of incorporation” from the Tennessee Commissioner of Agriculture; and 2) submitting the approved “articles of incorporation” along with the letter of approval to the Secretary of State.
