You could divide your saliva and sedum now, but it may be better to wait until the weather cools off a bit because the plants are already under stress with this heat and lack of rain. Sedum can also be propagated by cuttings. You can cut off 6 inches or so of the stem, then pull off the bottom two sets of leaves and stick that part into the soil. Where the leaves were attached roots will form. Make sure to have good soil contact against the part of the plant that is in the ground.
