My home is in a flood-prone area, and I want to sell it. Will my home be more difficult to sell?

Selling a home in a flood- or hurricane-prone area may not be as easy to sell as a home that is not in hurricane- or flood-prone areas. It depends in part on the home’s structure, materials, and preventative measures that may have been taken to reduce flood and hurricane damage.
