In reference to starting a business and making a living using your skills: Have you written a business plan to determine if this type of work meets a need? One suggestion is to do some market research and discover who your target market is. This will take some time, but once you know your customer, what their needs are, and your goals as a business owner, you will have a better opportunity to introduce your "product."
With that being said, your business card, whether it is paper or digital, is often the first impression a customer has of your company. You want to present a professional look. Start with your goals: What do you want the customer to do after they’ve viewed your CD card? What is your message, and how will the use of multimedia make it interesting? Write a storyboard for your message. Then you are ready to develop the content. CD cards are often developed using Flash or similar multimedia software that requires a skilled programmer to create. If you don’t have these skills, consider hiring a professional firm to help you. You can find many firms online by searching for “CD card development.”
