Should I use foliar fertilizer on my cotton?

In the absence of an identified nutrient deficiency, research from across the Cotton Belt generally has not shown a benefit from applying foliar fertilizers. Exceptions could be for micronutrient applications such as zinc, boron, and iron on fields that have been identified during the growing season to exhibit symptoms of these deficiencies.
