To have a definite diagnosis is to consult your veterinarian. Cancer eye lesions look like white, rough-surfaced, elevated plaques resembling very small warts.

There are three common locations to look for these lesions:
1. The junction between the white of the eye and the cornea on the back side of the eye.
2. The lower eyelid.
3. The third eyelid.

Once the original lesions have time to develop and grow they become large, pink, nodular growths with ulcerations that are sometimes bloody.
