Animals that suffer from lumpy jaw may have a hard, immovable painless, bony mass that protrudes from the side of their jaw. Often times, the enlargement has open sores that drain pus. In cases where the teeth become infected, there is pain when chewing which leads to weight loss due to the animal not eating. Consult your local veterinarian.
