Where do I start to find out what county resources are available for aging adults?

There are several avenues you can take to find out about community resources. One of the first places you should connect with is your local Area Agency on Aging office ( www.n4a.org). You might also check out the blue pages of your local telephone directory – many county agencies are listed there.

Additionally, your local government could very well have a department listing that includes all county government offices. Here you might find a department that could be of service to you. And finally, some counties put together an information and referral directory that is a comprehensive, online information and referral directory for services in and supporting your particular county.
