Rotational grazing requires more initial planning, and because the pasture is divided into many small areas, it may require more infrastructure (fencing, water sources, etc.). Management requirements will also be different. Depending on the degree of rotational grazing used, livestock will need to be moved every day to every few days. If managed correctly, the return is more productive pastures, improved forage quality, and fewer weeds.
