We are currently seeking to release the Map@Syst geocoin (http://www.extension.org/pages/Map%40Syst_Geocoin_Adventure) as part of the efforts to let people know about eXtension (http://www.extension.org). If you would like to release a coin, please let us know and we will send you a coin to cache. The coin will come activated and ready to go, all you need to do is place it and log it through geocaching.com using the tracking number on the coin. You don't have to be in the U.S. to participate! We only ask that you cache the coin and set it free instead of keeping it for a collection. All the coins can be tracked at http://www.geocaching.com with the generic name Map@Syst.

There are two ways to request a coin
1.) Through a Geospatial Extension Specialist in your state (check the NGTEN website at http://geospatialextension.org/ for a list of active specialists)

2.) For those without a specialist or outside the use, send an email to ahays@tamu.edu

Please include the following:
Your name
Mailing address
geocaching.com username

Thanks for the interest and have fun caching!
