How are bats beneficial?

While they won't make your backyard insect free, bats do consume vast amounts of insects such as mosquitoes and crop damaging insects each night. Not only that but many bats that feed on nectar and pollen are important pollinators. Others feed on fruits and disperse the seeds. Even their feces which is called guano can be used for fertilizer.
