One of the biggest online scams is a variety of “work from home” scams. Particularly attractive to people who use computers a lot, these scams lure people into thinking they can get paid by working from home. More often than not, these turn out to be scams and are enough to end up costing the "employees" millions of dollars a year. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
