A pesticide formulation is a pesticide product offered for sale. Pesticides are generally comprised of active ingredient(s), adjuvant(s), spreader(s), sticker(s) and other formulants combined to render the product useful and effective for the purpose claimed.

Pesticides come in several formulations including emulsifiable concentrates, flowables, dusts, granulars, soluble powders, wettable powders, dry flowables or packets. Each of these is a pesticide but will mix in water or be used dry depending on the formulation used. Some formulations are easier to use and therefore safer for the individual to use to manage the pest problem.
