How do I protect my goats and livestock from bobcat predation?

Last Updated: May 20, 2009

View as web page

There are a number of ways to protect your goats, but none can be considered easy or 100% effective. Be sure to consider the techniques in relationship with the laws of your state. For additional information please visit Predator Control and Bobcat. One technique not listed in this handbook is the use of guard animals. While most work with guard animals has been done to protect flocks from coyotes, it is possible that the guard animals would protect against bobcats as well.
