Children being raised by a grandparent often experience changes throughout their lives. These changes may cause grandchildren to act out or in some cases become withdrawn. The first step in helping grandchildren with behavior changes is to recognize when they need assistance. Grandparents need to understand why their grandchildren are behaving in certain ways and to seek resources that provide information on how to assist them.
