What poisons can I use to control crows?

First, crows are a protected species under the North America Migratory Bird Act. Any type of lethal control requires appropriate permits available from state and federal agencies. More specifically, there are no toxicants are registered for crow control. Special Local Needs 24(c) registrations have been sought for DRC-1339 (3-chloro p-toluidine hydrochloride) by USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services for limited, small-scale use.

Contact your local Extension office or the state agency responsible for regulating pesticides (usually, but not always, the state department of agriculture) for more information.
