Venture capitalists typically look to provide larger sums of money to companies seen as fast growing where they can get a good rate of return (better than the market in general offers) and from which they will be able to get out of in three to five years. If you fit those criteria and are in one of the "hot" industries, you may be a candidate for venture capital.
