There are a lot of factors that can influence this answer. It depends on the type of riding, the intensity of the riding, age of the horse, soundness, body condition, nutritional status, feeding program, etc. If your horse is in good body condition, being fed properly, is sound, and the riding involves just going in a circle around the pen at a walk and trot with occasional cantering, then twice a day for a week would not be hard.
