  1. How does the starch in corn interfere with forage digestion in the rumen? I've heard if you feed up to four pounds per head, per day, it does not interfere. If the cattle are eating nine pounds of corn and ten pounds of hay, is there anything wrong with this? Updated: October 13, 2008
