  1. What does hail injury look like on apples, and what can I do when it happens? Updated: August 21, 2011
  2. My two-year-old colt jumped out of his 4.5-ft. fence. He was out through the night, but I got him back to the barn with no apparent injuries. He now has an extremely swollen scrotum. I can't get a hand on that area without getting a foot thrown at me, and that is not his nature. He is in a lot of pain. What should I do? Updated: January 26, 2010
  3. My 18-year-old Thoroughbred had been pretty athletic and was a show jumper. He was overworked, tore a tendon twice, and is now retired but ridden lightly. He is getting better, but it seems his stifles are now "popping" as his muscle tone in his rump is low. I had been riding him very lightly in straight lines at a walk and trot and walking him up and down small hills to condition him, but the snow has hit, so riding is out for a while. Any ideas?
