  1. Some say that it is best to rake up pine needles (conifer needles) to reduce the risk of forest fire, whereas others say it is best to leave the needles on the ground to prevent the loss of moisture from the soil and to reduce weed growth. Who is right? Updated: May 12, 2011
  2. I have a 10 year old Dutch Warmblood, imported from Holland just over two years ago. Each time he has an injection (either IV or IM) he is having skin reactions such as heat and swelling and they are getting progressively worse. He still has a knot over his jugular from a banamine injection from Oct. Who can I contact for more information on how to prevent/ treat this before he gets seriously worse? My veterinarian has already tried many of the normal treatments/ preventions. Updated: January 06, 2009
