Hoof Knife

A hoof knife is used to pare away dead sole from the hoof, to remove ragged parts from the frog, to relieve pressure on corns and cracks, and to remove foreign bodies from the foot. Hoof knives are available in wide, narrow and loop types in right-handed and left-handed styles.
