Roundup Ready

Roundup Ready is a trademark term applied to varieties that contain a gene system inserted into the plant's DNA that imparts vegetative tolerance to the herbicide glyphosate (e.g. Roundup). In most environments Roundup Ready varieties lack full reproductive tolerance to glyphosate applied after the 4th leaf stage.
