Executor

An executor is the designee (or designees, if there are co-executors) that you name to carry out the instructions in your will. An executor can be either a person or an organization, such as a commercial bank or law firm.

An executor is sometimes called a Personal Representative. If you do not name an executor, the probate court will appoint one.
