Orthorectification

Orthorectification is the process in which an image is geometrically corrected to create a uniform image from edge to edge. Rectification compensates for distortion related to projection and from the camera distortion. In addition, rectification can be done to compensate for pitch, yawl, and roll in aerial photography.
