Infrared Photography

Infrared means "below the red." With respect to wavelength, however,the infrared spectrum has wavelengths longer than those of red radiation. The infrared spectrum is commonly defined as 0.76 micrometers to 1,000 micrometers. Infrared photography produces images that normal conventional photographic films cannot. Infrared photographs record what the eye cannot see. Infrared imagery is commonly used to evaluate plant health conditions.
