Why Did We Develop These Research Summaries?

In early 2008, LPE Learning Center newsletter subscribers participated in a survey to assess the impact LPELC products have had on your work and to plan out the future direction for the project. The product most requested was a series of one-page summaries of current research related to manure management.

Those "research summaries" are now being posted to the website. Approximately twenty summaries from the S-1032 regional research committee were submitted with seven of them already posted. The others will be posted during the month of August. More than 40 air quality-related research summaries are also being targeted for posting in early fall, 2008.

What Summaries Are Already Available

Summaries are currently available in the areas of manure treatment, air quality, manure economics, and manure nutrients. To see a listing of these summaries, go to Manure Management Research Summaries.

How Can You Get Your Research Summary Posted?

If you would like to submit a summary of your current research project(s), please contact Jill Heemstra, jheemstra@unl.edu.
