Reliable answers from manure management experts are just one click away on the Livestock and Poultry and Environmental Learning Center website. When you use "Ask an Expert", the system first searches the website, including FAQs, for possible answers to your question. If you do not see the answer you need, you can then submit your question to one of the expert volunteers. The system compares geographical location and areas of expertise when assigning an expert to your question. The goal is to answer all incoming questions within 48 hours of submission.

The "Ask an Expert" feature is available in two places on each web page (including this one). At the top, look for an orange box with "Have a question? Try asking one of our Experts". There is also a second link "Try Asking One of Our Experts" near the comment and ratings boxes toward the bottom of the page. The Learning Center currently has 32 experts representing 25 states and is recruiting additional experts to provide state-specific answers for all 50 states.
