Bang's disease

Bangs Disease-Contagious bacterial disease that results in abortions. Also called brucellosis. Heifers must be vaccinated by an accredited veterinarian between the age of 2 and 4 months. Heifers are identified that they have been vaccinated by an orange tag/clip in the right ear and by a tattoo in their right ear.
