Anterior Pituitary

Anterior Pituitary (AP) - The part of the pituitary gland, located at the base of the brain that produces several hormones.

Hormones that are released:

  • follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)
  • luteinizing hormone (LH)
  • prolactin
