Certified Organic Beef - Beef certified by USDA as being raised from cattle according to National Organic Program (NOP) standards, which require that cattle be fed 100% organic feed an are not given hormones or antibiotics for any reason. Sick animals cannot be denied treatment but those receiving antibiotics are not eligible for inclusion in the NOP.
