Feed Additives- Substances or a mixture of substances, other than a basic foodstuff, which are present in a food as a result of any aspect of production, processing, storage or packaging.

Types of Feed Additives:

  • drugs (medical)
  • antibiotics
  • nitrofurans and sulfa compounds
  • coccidiostats
  • wormers
  • hormone-like compounds
